由于球阀和驱动器是分体式的，可在管道上装好球阀后再安装驱动器。为了调试方便，应了解球体在阀体内的启闭状况，因此阀杆顶端平面刻有一字槽，其方向与球体通孔方向一致。另外，在安装驱动器时，驱动器方孔内的轴销要与阀杆的唯一性安装记号槽方向一致，安装时请按阀体标示的流向方向安装；在所配用型号驱动器的包装盒内的说明书上，详细说明了安装连接方法  RETZ ball valve and the driver are split, the driver can be installed after the ball valve is installed on the pipeline.
